September 3, 2010Former Willamette University runner Nick Symmonds captured his first victory of the 2010 European circuit, taking the 800 meters Wednesday in an IAAF World Challenge meet in Zagreb, Croatia. Symmonds ran 1:45.37, 0.28 seconds ahead of runner-up Mansoor Belal Ali of Borneo. Job Kinyor of Kenya was third in 1:45.86.
